D&C Glass was founded in 1988 by Deidrich “Dick” Tasto and his wife, Carol. Dick was an Air Force Veteran and second generation Union Glazier. After Dick returned home from the Korean War and worked for different glazing companies he decided it was time to open his own company. Dick, Carol and their daughter Coreen Tasto opened the doors to D&C Glass and they ran the business for over 25 years until they retired and handed the reins to their daughter Coreen and grandson, David. Coreen has over 30 years of experience with office operations and David has over 20 years of knowledge and experience with glazing. David learned the trade from his grandfather, Dick. He carries that training and mentorship with him to this day. In October 2018, D&C Glass added Amy Shelton to their team to assist with office management. Amy is Dick and Carol's granddaughter and like her grandfather, she is also a Veteran. Amy served in the US Army and received her Business Management Degree from Cameron University.
